⚽ Tomorrow Night Downtown Hollywood Becomes the Most Electric Place in South Florida

The morning Hollywood has been building toward for months is finally here. Tomorrow - Saturday June 27 at 4 PM - Hollywood Boulevard transforms into the biggest free outdoor event our city has ever hosted. The Boulevard closes from 7 AM through 3 AM. Two World Cup matches play on multiple giant video screens - England vs Panama at 5 PM AND Colombia vs Portugal at 7:30 PM. And while Colombia vs Portugal plays on Hollywood Boulevard, the actual match is simultaneously happening at Hard Rock Stadium just 15 minutes away. After the final whistle - Los Wizzards and Colombian-American pop star AleMor take the stage live at 9:30 PM. Free parking at City Hall (2600 Hollywood Blvd) with Sun Shuttle service from 2 PM to 2 AM. $10 parking at city garages from 3 PM. Entry checkpoints at 19th and 21st Ave - under 18 must be with a parent or guardian. Gates close at maximum capacity - arrive early. This is going to be a night Hollywood talks about for years.

1. 🏗️ Holland Park Tower Removal Completes Today - Hollywood Parks Return to Full Access

After 12 days of controlled demolition work, the deteriorated wooden tower at Holland Park completes its final inspections today June 26 - bringing the project to a close right on schedule. The tower had reached the end of its service life and was removed as a public safety measure to protect park visitors. With the project complete, Holland Park and Rotary Park return to full normal access this weekend. A small but meaningful chapter in Hollywood's ongoing investment in safe, well-maintained public spaces.
