📌 TODAY'S TOP STORY The Full World Cup Schedule at Hard Rock Stadium Is Here — And It's Incredible South Florida soccer fans, here's everything you need to know. Hard Rock Stadium — just minutes from Hollywood — will host 7 FIFA World Cup matches from June 15 through July 18. Here's the full lineup:

· June 15 Saudi Arabia vs Uruguay (6 PM)
· June 21 Uruguay vs Cabo Verde (6 PM)
· June 24 Scotland vs Brazil (6 PM)
· June 27 Colombia vs Portugal (7:30 PM)
· July 3 Round of 32 (6 PM)
· July 11 Quarterfinal (5 PM) ·
· July 18 Bronze Final.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal are coming on June 27 — the same night as Hollywood Boulevard's massive free Watch Party. Five-time World Cup champions Brazil are coming June 24. And the Bronze Final closes out one of the most emotional matches in world football right here in our backyard. South Florida hasn't seen anything like this. Ever.

1. 📅 Hallandale Beach Has a Packed June Calendar — Here's What's Coming
The City of Hallandale Beach just posted its full June community events lineup and it's worth bookmarking. Here's what's coming up: The Juneteenth Freedom Festival lands on Friday June 19 from Noon to 6 PM at Dr. MLK Jr. Park & Dream Center — free, with live music, entertainment, food vendors and family activities. The following morning, Saturday June 20 from 9–11 AM, the city joins the national America 250 celebration with a Beach Cleanup at South City Beach Park hosted by Little Earth Hero — a great way to give back and keep our coastline beautiful. And if you want to connect directly with local leaders, the Northwest Community Meeting is set for Tuesday June 30 at 6:30 PM at OB Johnson Park. Something for everyone this month, Hallandale Beach.

2. ✈️ JetBlue Announces First-Ever Flights from Fort Lauderdale to Venezuela — Before End of 2026 Big news for South Florida's large Venezuelan community — JetBlue has announced plans to launch the first-ever nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Simón Bolívar International Airport in Caracas, Venezuela, before the end of 2026. The airline will operate the route on Airbus A320 aircraft with free Wi-Fi, seatback entertainment and complimentary snacks. "South Florida is home to a large Venezuelan community, and this new route would help connect families and loved ones with JetBlue's competitive fares and award-winning service," said JetBlue VP Dave Jehn. The route is still pending government approval — tickets are expected to go on sale in the coming months. JetBlue is now operating nearly 130 daily departures from FLL this summer — its largest-ever schedule from the airport.

3. 🥋 Hallandale Beach Is Home to a World-Class Kung Fu Academy — And Most People Don't Know It Tucked away in a strip mall at 410 NE 1st Ave in Hallandale Beach is one of South Florida's most extraordinary sports institutions. Vital Martial Arts Academy — home to USA Kung Fu team members — teaches Wushu, Tai Chi and Qigong to men, women and children of all ages. Its founder, Sifu Vital Yarashevich, was inducted into the International Chinese Martial Arts Championship Hall of Fame in 2021. The academy recently hosted an international Tai Chi lineage gathering that brought grandmasters to Hallandale Beach from across the globe. Their Wushu program has even been included in the 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal. A world-class institution hiding in plain sight right here in our city.
