It's getting real. The World Cup's knockout rounds reach South Florida this week, and the marquee match lands right next door: Lionel Messi and Argentina, the reigning champions, are set to play their Round of 32 game at Hard Rock Stadium on Friday, July 3 at 6 PM.

Heading to the sand this weekend? Quick heads-up. Forecasters say 2026 is shaping up to be a record sargassum year, and South Florida beaches are seeing moderate-to-heavy seaweed - with a layer of Saharan dust hazing the skies on top of it.
