1. ✈️ FLL Runway Maintenance This Week — What Travelers Need to Know

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport has scheduled runway maintenance with overnight closures this week. The North Runway closes tonight through Wednesday June 17, from 12:01–5 AM each night. The South Runway closes Thursday June 18 through Friday June 19, 12:01–5 AM. All flights continue operating — just on the alternate runway during those hours. With World Cup visitors flooding FLL right now, plan accordingly and check your airline app for any schedule adjustments.
